St. Peter's Church, dating to the 18th century, is a registered National Historic Landmark. The historic church tower was showing signs of instability which manifested as cracks in the brick walls on all four sides. S. Harris & Co. was asked to determine the cause of the instability and recommend a method to remediate the problem without destroying the historic integrity of the tower. S. Harris utilized a system of tie rods to pull the walls back inline and stabilize them against further deterioration.
